Random Thoughts on Strength and Weakness
Pretending that you are strong when you really aren't is the worst form of weakness. Accepting your weakness despite your composure is the best indicator of strength. Most of the time, people are afraid of what other people will think of them. They decide that the best way to interact is to live in a mask of smiles and airiness. During this time, they believe that they are in control, only to realize later that their fear is really the ones controlling them. To reveal one's true feelings and be ready to accept the feedback, whether good or bad, of the people around him is the true measure of strength. But it doesn't end there. Equally important is the ability to sift through the ashes of criticisms and the glitters of praises for that real, authentic lesson that one must learn in relation to what he projects.
