Let this be the day.
Like the legendary phoenix rising from the ashes, I will be reborn. My phoenix lament is over. Let the pains and miseries of the past be burnt by my rebirth flame.
Today, I will start anew. I will be a new person, stronger and  definitely better. I will soar higher than my previous dreams. And never will I let my focus be disrupted again. This time is MY time.
Let this be the day.

There are moments in a person's life when he will pause, take a deep breath, look back on his life, and just let himself drown on the deluge of emotions brought by waves and waves of memories -- all while listening to nostalgic music and/or sipping his favorite drink in the middle of the night. I used to have these moments frequently when I was younger. Or maybe, I was more aware of my inner self back then, intently listening and taking advantage of these moments to ground myself, have the time to really feel my emotions, cherish events close to my heart, and let go of things that burden me. Thirty One Years Ago

Good morning my dear kambal! Happy 31st birthday! Sulitin mo itong year na to, this is the last year na nasa kalendaryo ka pa. ;)  Thirty one years ago, God decided to create a family that He will forever bless and guide and nourish. He started with the mother. She is a gentle soul with a very sharp mind. She will be in charge of keeping her husband (aka eldest child) in line specially with his constant desire to play games. To make things fair, God also designed her to have a constant desire to shop, first for herself, but eventually for their children. She will strive to keep everything in order, with her uncanny prowess in planning and foresight. She will be the perfect partner for her husband, and the perfect mother for their children. Lewis When I was young, fairy tales (and cartoons, in general) provided me with a world of vast opportunities and possibilities, allowing me to be transported to different realities with no limitations and no fears. I would routinely battle bad guys with King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, with my powerful dragon coming out of my shield and burning my enemies. My fear of heights would not hinder me from showering with pixie dust and flying together with Peter Pan and the lost boys, playing tricks on Captain Hook and his band of pirates.  One of the first books that I bought for myself was "When the clock struck thirteen".
